May God keep the needs of the victims on the forefront, so they are not left stranded after the publicity is over. May the victims of other storms also have comfort and provision, and hold fast to life...hurricane Rita, typhoon Damrey, typhoon Longwang, and smaller storms that get no attention...smaller civil disturbances that don't make the news, where people are oppressed with no one to rescue them.

God will bless those who walk upright and live according His Will. Without God, we can no more help ourselves or help others. I pray not only we look at what's happening around the world as the unfolding of God's plan, but we must most importantly look within ourselves to see if we are living a life for Christ that is worthy to be represented for him.

If we're not, then let us pray for ourselves first, before we pray for others.
