  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My husband and I just got in a huge fight, basically long story short:

His ex girlfriend messaged him on facebook, and I saw it. and he told me not to say anything to her but I did anyway. I told her it was me and asked her how she was doing and told her i felt bad because he didn't want to talk to her. Well he got extremely mad and left me at my moms and took off his wedding ring and grabbed all of his clothes. He went to our new apartment in a diff town (15 miles away) and I'm afraid because the roads are pretty slick. And he has no cell phone and no internet at our house. I ended up talking to his ex a little bit and found out that they have talked in September and he was telling her how miserable he is with me. :'( I don't know what to do.

Lord, be there for her and her husband. Show the husband what he did wrong and to not mistreat his wife, that he can forgive her for what she did. Send laborers to help them, that they can help them in anyway with your help. Help the husband with his anger, do not let it get the best of him, let him be okay and safe. Send them both your love, peace, comfort and strength. I pray for this, in Jesus name, Amen.

Lifting you up in prayer. Jesus bring this couple closer to you through this situation. Let the husband be convicted of not putting his wife first and I pray they both will confess to you and surrender their relationship to you. In Jesus Precious Name Amen
