  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Prayers from you guys, please!

Today I applied for a job that I would really, really like to have. My current one isn't working out, to say the least, so I'm needing to make a change in the near future. Please pray that if it's God's will, it'll happen, and that I can stay calm and confident that He's looking out for me!
Also, God's making some major changes in me....I don't know why, but if He's trying to get me ready for something, could you please pray that I can handle whatever it is, good or bad? Thanks!

Heck yeah!!! :p

I can totally sense your excitement! :D

I will pray for you! I pray God uses you through your career and that you can minister to your co-workers and customers, and that you work in a way that is pleasing to God and in a way that shows the world what it is to be a Christian. We minister in everything we do. When you work, work like you are working for God! People watch and notice all our actions and our work ethics. Let them see a difference in you, and ultimately, let them know that the difference is Christ living in you! You represent God at your work place and every where else; remember that.

With that said know that the job market is tough so even if this does not fall though it's not because your life is over or that God doesn't care about you and your desires. He will do what is best for you ONLY if you trust him and live for him and seek him and his will only and not your own. It could be that God wants you where you are currently at, even though it's tough, because he is building you up, making you stronger, and teaching you a valuable lesson through all of this so that he may use you for bigger things later on. Either way it's a win win situation even though right now you may be in a position you hate. Think about the long run... you have many more years ahead of you and know that you will most likely not be at your current job forever. Learn as much as you can through both good and tough times. It will make you a better person and will also make your next job all the more sweeter. ;) Above all know God has a plan for all of us including you and know that his plan is greater than anything you can put together yourself. Trust and obey for there is no way to be happy in Jesus... (You know how it goes ;))

Any ways, I will pray that God gives you wisdom and insight into his will for you and that you have total peace and joy doing and being all that he wants you to do and be! Oh and of course I'll pray that he blesses you with an awesome job that is rewarding for you too. heh.
