Are there any specific prayers prayed for those who died outside the Church, especially those who hated Catholicism and didn't believe in God?

I had an online friend died about 9 years ago, and he fit the description above. I have often wondered about his own salvation, and am fearful.

Do not fret.

1. If you spoke to him, you planted a seed.
2. The seed may have had growth he was not sharing.
3. The Lord calls us in the 11th hour and he may have responded.
4. Pray for him because he could just be in purgatory.
5. Do not stress too much because a simple prayer for him probably had great affect. The Lord hears the faithful even if we do not know what He will do with our prayers, indeed He uses them for others.

I'd like to know this. My grandma was the most pious and holy person I knew but she was evangelical, not Catholic. I've prayed for her as often as I can remember since she passed in 2020.

My favorite prayer in that situation is the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
