Prayers for the trip...

Dear Friends,

We leave Arizona early Sunday morning via motor home and with our four kitties to return to our summer cabin in the woods of Western Washington. Please pray for our safety during the 1800 mile trip. We will be stopping to visit relatives along the way. Hopefully we can be a witness of God's care especially to an elderly Aunt (87) who can be difficult to communicate with at times --- that peace will prevail at all times in all ways as we travel.

I will get back to posting after May 1st. I am trusting that God will answer prayers and all will be fine as we get home.

The motor home is older so not always as reliable as we would hope. Please pray all goes well with that too. Trying to get it ship shape and ready to go during the next few days.

Father, glory be to Your name. Lord, be with Your daughter on this day, and everyday, Father, that her trip may go as planned, and if any bumps are ion the road, that they may be hopped over without any troubles. Lord, guide them on their trip, and may the witness to the world, as You command us to do. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Thank you that in all things you protect and guide us. I ask that you watch over birdfriend and her family as they travel to their cabin. You were able to keep the menorah in the Temple burning for 8 days despite the fact there was only enough oil for one during the miracle of Channuka, and I know you are able to keep their motor home running smoothly for their whole trip.

On this trip they intend to visit their extended family and minister to them. Bring a sense of peace and joy to these visits that all may feel happy they got together. Especially help birdfriend's elderly aunt and make a way for her to hear your Word, settle her spirit and open her ears. Bless this family that loves you and are willing to share their joy of salvation and hope of eternal life with others. In Jesus' name, Amen

Hi Everyone,

Many thanks for your prayers. We arrived via motor home with ourselves and four kitties intact today in Washington. There were no major incidents or repairs and even the kitties (four of them) were peaceful and didn't howl, upchuck, or fight. Beautiful scenery in N. Arizona and S. Utah but snow, hail, and much rain in N. Utah and Idaho. The Lord was watching out for us all the way home. 1800 miles.

Good to be home. Thanks again. and

(I know this is corny, but...) Roy Rogers used to say..."May the Good Lord take a like - in to ya!"
