Prayers for the Sick

I thought I would start a thread for people to post prayers for those who are sick i their life. You can either use free-form prayer, or prayer from liturgy. Here is a link to the USA BCP's section on prayers for the sick.

I will start with my son, who has Epilepsy. Its a form that we are told he will never outgrow. I used to pray for healing in spite of what the Doctor told us, but now I usually just pray that God will keep it under control using the countless medicines that he is on.

Lord Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of the sheep, you gather
the lambs in your arms and carry them in your bosom: We
commend to your loving care this child Byron. Relieve his pain,
guard him from all danger, restore to him your gifts of
gladness and strength, and raise him up to a life of service to
you. Hear us, we pray, for you dear Name's sake. Amen.

Please could I ask you to pray for me? I have cancer. It was all over - hodgkins lymphoma. I have been having chemo for the last six months and am awating a scan now. I am terrified. Thankyou so much.
