  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I keep forgetting to post this, I like to ask for everyone to pray for the Broncos, both for the souls of the deceased, and for the healing of the injured.

At my college a memorial was set up for them:

Once again we're reminded of the fragility of the human life. One second we're here, the next we see Christ in all his glory face to face.

We must never relax, sleep spiritually or otherwise forget to keep our lamps lit. We may face God when we least expect it.

Let us pray for the souls of the deceased ones, the grieving families and for all those heading towards death all over the earth.

Isaiah 1:18-20 New International Version (NIV)

18 “Come now, let us settle the matter, says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land; 20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
