Prayers for the firefighters... please!

At the moment there are over 50 bushfires burning around bush areas around Sydney.   I live on the Central Coast, which is about 80km north of Sydney, and I'm currently about 50km away from the closest fire.  We get ALL the smoke from it - I'm going to take a photo of a blood red sun unless it rains before Saturday night

Anyway...  Please pray for rain and for protection over families, firefighters and their homes - I think over 100 homes have been lost already

Lord, keep them safe, and make your presence known Father.  Please keep these precious people safe from the fires that are raging ~

Oh Father God, I pray for extra special protection for all the fire-fighters. Keep them safe, dear Lord protect them. Help them to put out the fires, and save as many homes as possible. I pray that no lives would be lost. In Jesus precious Name, Amen.


Btw, I heard on my local news that a fire-fighter died in a freak accident at an Army base near my home (Fort Rucker). It happened Wednesday night. Please pray for his family. The firefighter was 31 years old, and his name is Kerry G. Neis of Enterprise, Alabama.

It's been raining ALL day, and before the rain started there were 80 separate bushfires. It turns out something between 40 and 50 homes were lost. As far as I know there have been very few casualties and no fatalities

Anyway, apparently not all the fires are out, but the very few which are left are under control, praise God!
