CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Roy, I am keeping you in my prayers. I hope you know you are loved by us and by God, even when you feel you are far away from Him, from everyone. Lord, I lift Roy to you now. Bless him, ease his pain, let him know you are near and that you hold him in the palm of your hand. Keep him safe, Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.

Praying for Roy and hoping somebody hears from him soon. I am leaving tomorrow morning to go out of the country for the holidays and I will praying for good news when I return home.

1. The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me (Jesus),
for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to Roy.
He has sent me to comfort Roy and to proclaim that he will be released

2. He has sent me to tell Roy that the time of the LORD’s favor has come,
and with it, the day of God’s anger against the enemy.
3. To Roy he will give a crown of beauty for ashes,

Praying that Roy is given purpose in his life and chooses to live instead of giving in to the enemy. The holidays can be a very sad and lonely time for a depressed person, and I pray that the Lord is there to step in and provide comfort and healing to his hurting heart. Also that He would send family and friends to be there and help him through this time. God bless.
