My sister smokes cannabis and it affects her kids. I've seen the damage it's done to me, my ex-husband, my mom, and many friends I made. I've decided to quit especially since I have Aspergers and I really do suffer from short term memory loss. I've been incorporating Ginko to help with focusing and memory. Caffeine helps too. The way I look at it is that Yeshua (Jesus) told his disciples not to be drunk with wine so why be high? How is any of that sober? I really hate that her sons are going through it. My sister reminds me of my ex-mother-in-law that smoked to cope with life. My sister didn't have the same upbringing as I have and chooses stupid stuff.
Where I live you could be fined $1000 dollars for just a gram of weed. My sister uses more than that.
At this point, it's almost like I want God to allow her to get caught despite the consequences so that she can see God even in the calamity.
Another prayer I have is for my uncle who has abused not only cannabis but harsher drugs as well. He's never been a Christian and has only pretended to be in the faith when it served him well with the members of his family that are Christians. He's probably the most depressed person I know. I hope for God to save him.
And then as for I need prayers to stay strong and not crave cannabis and keep up the habit of using other alternatives for sleep.
