CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I will let you know myself. I have undergone a multitude of tests and still have another two days to do. I have a lot of swelling in my hands and legs, and actually both arms as well. I am sure the problem can be fixed once the extent is determined.
I have been on four years of borrowed time already, and doing quiet well at it. Lasy year I was in one of the best conditions of my life. I anticipate getting back to that condition soon.
This is just a nuicience caused by sme blockages that I am sure can be taken care of with stints. At any rate I have not packed my bags in anticipation of checking out yet. I feel certain God has a great deal of work for me to do yet, and I am forging full steam ahead with all travel plans.

Lori, you are such a sweet inspiration to me. Many times I have come here with ny chin dragging, feeling a little sorry for myself, as I have even today. But seems like so many times you were there with just the right words.
I know your life is filled with trials and difficulties, and yet you always take time to care about others. Thanks Lori. I covet and appreciate your prayers, and know you are in mine.

Well, Alta, I am not at my peak physically, spiritually, mentally, or emotionally. But I will be again very soon. Seems a lot of things have been brought into a sharper focus for me, and in a sense I am better off than I have ever been.
I want to thank you publically for posting the prayer requests for me. It was not expected, and I would not have asked on my own, but I do appreciate it.
I have no idea of your needs but I do pray for you and ask God to fill all your needs with lots of blessings left over to share with others.
Thanks for being Alta and thanks for being a friend to me when I really needed a friend. I pray you will be blessed with more friends than you can count.

I would prefer if you never quit praying for me. I would love to be on your permanent list.
I am not 100% as I would like, but I am doing so well and I have never been more happy. I am growing in Jesus and I am in love and at peace.

I am very thankful for all the prayers for Gerry. I can see that he is much better and because I know him a long time I can see how much he have grown in the last couple of months. I am very blessed to see how obedience Gerry is.
