Prayers for Depression

I was doing so good, but one person can just tear me apart by showing me I will never be good enough.

I am being ignored again, missing my dad who died in February, and my birthday is coming up next week. I am heading in with the promises and threats to make it my worst birthday.

Can you please pray for this person?

And please pray for me that I can break out of this sadness. I am starting new treatment for my health on my birthday, and I need to keep a positive attitude. I just feel like I will be crying all day now.

That's a lot to deal with....praying that even if it seems overwhelmingly sad and despairing now, that God's Light breaks forth on and in you and permeates your heart, mind, and spirit, commencing with healing for you in His wings. He is our Comforter and the Lifter of our head. May He be so with you, dear heart. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen.

Lord, send her lots of comfort, for what she is going through and let her have peace of mind. Be there for her and show her you are listening, that you will be there every step of the way. Send her your love, peace and strength. I pray for this, in Jesus name, Amen.
