CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

thanks guys. still anxious. trying to trust God. praying that the Father will help me get hte assistance i need, and give me enough peace to find the things i need. praying for patience. Lord, thank you for being here for us, thank you for taking our sins and actually wanting to hear all of our wants, even though they may seem petty. Lord, let your grace and power rule over this board and be int he hearts of all who visit it.

thanks honey....i'm trying. i'm tryin gto take one day at a time and enjoy life. i know i'm in therapy and going to a psychiatrist but there are so many things that i need to do (health related). i know God can get me through...i just feel hopeless. so, i've been taking the negative and just praising God. listening to Christian music etc and getting involved at church.
