After trying to find a special someone for many years now, I finally found someone who I'm going to go on a date with this weekend. We're going to go on a walk through the park and just talk. I think it will be a very lovely experience.

I'd like some prayers that everything goes well and, because this will be my first time meeting him in person, I'd also like some prayers that I would be safe during this first meeting. Thank you!

Let her be aware of any "red flags." Please help them as they dress, and prepare to meet each other. Let this be an enjoyable time of getting to know one another. Would it be ok to suggest that walking through a secluded area with someone you do not know well, is a very risky idea? How about a first meeting in a public area, get to know something about this person, even go so far as to check them out just a little on line. I just want you to be safe.

Update on the date: It went very well and I arranged for us to meet in a public place. That being said, I think maybe this guy is a little too old for me, so I let him know that in a kind way. I'll still be searching for someone, but I think maybe I'll choose someone closer to my own age. Thank you for all of the prayers though!
