  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear Lord,

I lift up my little Kitten to you Lord. You know the pain I felt after losing Tangles a year ago. Now this little kitten is sick, Lord. She has feline leukemia. She's so innocent Father!

Please allow me to help her. Grant me the financial resources to continue proper medical care. Lord, the vet said it's not bad at all yet, that it may never transpire. Lord, give little Bobbie cat a full, healthy life. Thank you for giving me this precious little kitten to help heal my grief, but please, keep her with me and don't take her from me just yet. Allow me to be a good steward and take care of your animal, Father. I request healing for her and strength for me. Thank you for giving us the unique bond with animals that we can have just by reaching out. Thank you for accepting every prayer request, Lord. Even for the smallest "sparrow."

In Your Name,
Amen
