Prayers for a Mother

Howdy all, I hope this is the right section, I would like to ask everyone to pray for my mom (Rosetta) for two reasons. She will be going in for the first of two foot surgerys tomorrow. She is will be laid up for a long time and then will have to have her other foot worked on. It will be better in the end but the doctor said it will be a painful recovery.

And the second reason is so that she will come more to the Lord and his Church. I am a convert to the Catholic faith (I was an atheist). The last Catholics in my family were my grandparents but the faith kind of died out. I went through RCIA and was baptised in 2005, my girlfriend just went through RCIA and I am really hoping that my mom will come to the Church aswell.

I just saw this now, but will e sending up some "retroactive" prayers for your mom, God is outside time after all!

Congrats on your reception into the Church. My parents are also unbelievers, so I understand your pain there and will pray for your family.
