Prayers for a friend

I would like to ask for prayers on behalf of my friend Jeremiah. He is a gay male who has tried for the last year to put aside his former life of promiscuity to pursue a college degree and a better life for himself. Earlier this week he was gangraped while visiting a friend, and is extremely depressed and struggling with anger, confusion and shame. I ask for prayers for him, and for him to be able to move on from this event. Also for me, and his other friends, so we can be good friends and supportive listeners. Thanks.

Dear lord, please help Jeremiah through the troubles he is going through. There are a lot of bad things and people in this word, and sometimes things happen that hurt us badly. But you can take away that pain, Lord, so help heal his heart and mind. Give his friends open minds and hearts to listen and help him through this difficult time. In Jesus's name i pray, Amen.

Lord, please help Jeremiah through this time, give him the love that he obviously needs right now, I pray that you help his friends to be supportive, and give them the words to say to him that will make him feel comforted and loved.
I pray that you will help him to open up, so he will not hide these feelings inside himself and leave them to increase in intensity.
Help him to realise that this rape is not his fault, that he has done the right thing in leaving his promiscuous life behind, and that he has you and his friends for support.
