Prayers for a child

A friend of my daughter goes in for a 12 hour surgery today to remove a tumor in his head that has caused him to lose sight in one of his eyes and is threatening the other. We ask for prayers for him to be taken care of and for his doctors to be guided by God's hands. Thank you.

The surgery seems to have been a success! He has regained some of the eyesight he lost (they thought he might be completely blind in the one eye) and the doctors hope for even more improvement. He goes home from the hospital today or tomorrow as he is doing quite well. Thanks for all of you who held him in your prayers! We keep praying that things will continue to improve.
