  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Some of you who have been in Mature Singles for a long time may recall my endless rants (truly endless :sorry:) about work, my frustrations with my co-workers who constantly took advantage, barely did any work but talked as if they were SO busy just to deceive others, etc. etc. etc.

Well, I believe we need to give God glory, and most especially when He has acted mercifully. AND HE HAS! :clap:

At long long last, the worst of my co-workers are gone. God has orchestrated each departure, after giving them plenty of chance to amend their ways (which they didn't). God sees, and God acts, and I am SO very, very thankful. :bow:

I can't let on at work just how happy I am (read: THRILLED) because they had friends who are still there and were influenced by them. But I *had* to post here because some of you listened patiently to my venting last year. Thought I'd share the good news! I'm finally free of them! :clap: Thank GOD Almighty! :clap:
