CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My heart aches for them so bad. My life was forever changed by knowing them and I still think about them every day. Things happened there that I wish I could have prevented, but I am only one person. I pray for the whole family constantly and will always thank God for sending one of his angels to protect us here on earth. Tim's sacrifice was not in vain and I am a better person for being given the opportunity to care for him and comfort his family in his final days. I pray they are all together in a perfect place now.

Would somebody else who still believes in prayer and considers themself a christian like to open a new thread? I can't claim either so I don't feel right having this here. Let me know and I will close this. Thanks.

I will be remembering Emma in my prayers this weekend as we celebrate Father's Day. I pray she knows how much her dad loved her even though she never got to meet him. They are all in my heart and very dear to our congregation. There are so many people praying for them.
