We should all join in fellowship and entreat our Lord and Savior with requests for a peaceful resolvement to the situation with Iraq. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Me too... is there anything impossible for our God though?
He can make a war a lot less bloody than it would be otherwise.... or this could turn into Armeggedon and He would return which is alright by me! Yes I know that is looking way into all this, but hey I would love to see Jesus come back!!

Father God: Pour out your wisdom on our leader and place your protective hand over the situation in Iraq. Father, I never know how to pray in these situations but I know that You have everything under control. I pray that your Soverign plan be revealed to those who do not know You and that you illuminate the Spirit in us for a light to the world.

One thing I majorly pray for is the continuance of the blessing of the Lord upon our country. We as a nation have fallen pretty far from the Lords will, and I fear that, as a nation, we will not continue to recieve the wonderful and enormous blessings we have in the past.
Although I LOVE and trust in the Lord, I still fear as a man, right or wrong. I do fear for my loved ones, and I pray that we can all continue to experience peace.
Also, please pray for the wisdom of the leaders. These men have a lot in their hands, and the Lords wisdom would fit them quite well if you ask me.
