every day each of us pass people on the street daily...people washing cars, weeding a garden. so...why not pray for them? i know i know, if you do you won't be able to sing to the music playing in your car, but following Christ is about sacrifice. Christ died for us, the least we can do is spare a few minutes in prayer for those you pass while driving or maybe even shopping. you could be the first one to pray for them...how awesome is that!! but, seriously, to pass a person by and not mention them in prayer is...kind of selfish. if we all did that, can you imagine how many people's lives would change!! with one prayer God can do a million things!!! don't just think one prayer will do nothing for that person. where's your faith?! where you are is a mission field. so be a missionary like God has called all of us to be! whether in an office or working with children. God can use you where you are. pray for people passing by you waiting in line, or anywhere for that matter!! run like Jesus did. run to the lost and tell them about him...and/or pray for them. sometimes we underestimate the power of prayer. just thought i'd encourage you to do a little prayer for those in your neighborhood.
