Prayer Walks

About a year ago, I felt a need to get into shape and so I decided I needed to lose some weight. I decided to do power walking late at night or early in the morning, as these times were best for me.

As I began to walk for as much as 5 miles it seemed to me to take a lot of time I wished I could spend in some other way. Finally God revealed to me this was the perfect time to spend in comunion with Him and so I dubbed these power walks, Prayer Walks.

But after a period of time, things changed in my life, and the Prayer Walks became history.

Now due to a new set of circumstances I have begun a new thing. It is a period of time late at night when I go out and gaze into the Heavens and Worship God.

I have been overwhelmed, by my own personal insignifcance in the overall scheme of things. Our God is far too great for our words.

If you wish to experience the greatness of God go out and clear your heart and mind and drink in the awesome, inconceivable, magnificence, of an all Powerful loving God!

Thank you for the very kind words. It is always such a thrill to know God has used me in some way to bless another. Your words are indeed a blessing to me!

And yes! It is an awesome way to spend time with our Father!

I understand what you're talking about here. When I'm out in my yard, and just walking around the flower beds, or working in the garden is when I spend alot of time talking to God, and he uses that time to show me new things.

There's just something about being outside and gazing upon his many creations that draws us ever so nearer to him, and shows us just how awesome he truely is!
