Can someone please pray for me as I am in the process of interviewing a new job. This job is really important to me in a sense that it's an indication to my direction, and to my family that I will be the provider. I really need prayer support as I have been loosing sleep since last week.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Bring favor in this situation. Lord, give nyee confidence in your timing and provision, and peaceful rest during both day and night. Show nyee that you care about the family's needs. Make the connections needed for nyee to have the necessary income to support the family. You surround us with favor, like a shield. (Psalm 5:12)

If this job you want prayer about is right, which it sounds like it is, then I can assure you that God will provide you with confidance, and peace about the interview, all you need to do is ask him to give you confidance and peace, and as you've mentioned through worry you've not slept, he will give you that also. Give the Lord your worries and concerns, put them in his hands and ask him to lead the way. Particularly at night pray that you will sleep peacefully, and not worry. God knows what is right for you and if this is the right move then he will guide you in it.

Because I am suffering from the anxiety as well, I understand how painful is waiting in the midst of uncertainty. May Lord please help and provide our need. Please also keep praying for me. I still haven't heard anything from the company, neither good nor bad. I really need this job.

Today is the first working day after the long weekend. See if I will get any reply today. I am extremely tired about these similar situations in life. I feel praying is tiresome, especially there is no answer.......

All I can say is I feel your discouragement. God's timing is not often the same as ours, and let's face it His answers are sometimes painful. But as humans we cannot see the whole picture of God's purpose and will. There is not much comfort on the ground level in that, but if you can focus on the fact that His will is being done, then it might get a little easier. I pray for your discouragement.
