Prayer support for Alta

I have been privileged with some information that has not been available to the general Populace that I wish to share at this time. I had intended to wait until Monday when more people will be on, but I do not wish to wait any longer.

For each five years Alta has fasted 40 days each year. One for each of the Five fold Ministry. This year she is again fasting 40 days, this time in prayer for the unity of the Body of Christ.

I share her concern in this area, and though she, herself could not make this post, I will seeking prayer support for her.

This is a called effort and requires dedication and devotion and is not the easiest of all human tasks. If, like me you believe in the power of prayer, please join me in praying daily for her. For her strength and her anointing and that God would bless her with His peace and His Power, and that she may receive all that God has for her during this special time.

If you are one who believes in fasting please add a fast to your prayers. Some could join her with a fast of 3 days or even a week. But even a day or a single meal will add power to your prayers and Bless God.

I will keep this brought to the top, as she will be blessed by all the support she can get.

She is currently in this fast and I am not sure of the day number. Some of you may have noticed she has not been posting as much as normal. This is because of her seperation for prayer.

I am making this post on my own as she would never seek support on her own.

I have already started praying and will continue to.  Please keep us informed I am anxious to hear the results of her fast and how she is doing.  I don't have any experiences with fasts and like I told you before I have only known one person to do one.  I didn't ask alot of questions of her as it was such a private thing to her.  But, I just love to see people following a call from the Father...especially a difficult one.  So many people know what God wants them to do and yet don't take up the challenge.  I know I myself am guilty of that from time to time.  Because it will put me out of my comfort zone.  Those are the times that God just "shoves" me into His will.  I am just glad to be able to see someone who is not afraid to follow unconditionally.  What an amazing testamony to the power of God in our lives...

I know the ones who are praying and who will pray for Alta. But most important is that our Father, who sees in secret will openly reward those who obey Him.

Alta was a friend of mine long ago. I have not always agreed with Alta 100% of the time, but I have always respected and admired her and she has been a precious and much loved Sister of mine.

I have sought this suport for her because, I know that at times like this there ia a natural "seperation" that occurs and there are incredible "highs" and very low "lows". Sometimes, a person will feel alieniated from the ones they love and their friends. They will feel looked down on as being a "Holy Joe" or a "Holier than Thou" type person.

Therfore I feel it is extremely important that the "Family of God", all of us, her brothers and sisters, Cover her in prayer. During times like this I will pray and even do day long fasts and even three day fasts in support.

I do what I can and I am very blessed for the privilege and opportunity to have a part in something that Blesses the Heart of God and brings Him Glory.

Thanks to all of you praying and may you know the Blessings and Peace of God as you obey and honor Him.

I think its cool that Alta is fasting for 40 days. I'd be lucky just to make it through 1 day of fasting. But i'll help by praying for her!

I will be praying daily for Alta, during her fast. When we suspend the natural to seek God's face He is glorified and He blesses His children.

When I arrived at CF, Alta, was the first fellow Christian to reach out to me and I have been very blessed by her friendship while here at CF.

Alta, has a true passion for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. She understands well the power of the Holy Spirit.

Father, tonight, I lift to You my sister and friend, Alta, and I ask a Special measure of that love and strength and power and joy be poured out on her in this time of devotion and obedience. Receive great glory and honor through her love and desire to please and serve You, in the Sweet and Precious and Awesome Name of Jesus! And so it is!
