I need prayers brothers and sisters as I am going to ship out for Army basic training this week on Tuesday. However, at the last minute there seems to be a glitch.
As the regulations say, I have enlisted as a permanent resident of the US, by regulation, if the applicant has not received his greencard yet, he can use alternative forms to prove his residency to enlist. I used my passport which INS had put a stamp saying that I will be getting my greencard. This is all in the reg. Two days ago, we received a call from the processing center asking my alien registration number and a copy of my greencard "supposedly the document I used to enlist was no good" We immediately faxed the new Temporary Greencard (which is more like the greencard itself with picture and fingerprint on it but still not the actual one) and asked to call back if it won't work. Noone called and I am all worrying right now if they would terminate my shipout all of a sudden. I called my station commander and asked him and he said "bull...., they don't know anything, your docs are valid, there is no problem"
But still there is a worry in me. Please pray...
