My wife lost her place to teach music lessons AGAIN. This happened last year at a different place. They asked her to leave. I don't have the full story yet but it may be because she has less students than some other teachers and she's taking up space. I don't know how she can deal with this again. She had her fall schedule almost all lined up with more students than spring and everything looked good.

Please pray for us. She makes most of the money.

So far this doesn't seem to be triggering but it's obviously not easy. Plus two car repairs, a cat repair, our roof is leaking and I have to see a doctor for my back.

I'm doing all I can to pray and take refuge in Him.

Wow that would send me into a full on episode. You pretty much hit all my triggers. So thankful that you are handling it okay. I will surely pray.

Father God, I ask you for strength and mercy for this family that so faithfully follows you and seeks you out despite the circumstances of life and health. Give them wisdom in what they do next (James 1:5? I think promises wisdom if we ask). Comfort them during this time of loss and transition. Lord give them hope and provide for their needs as your Word promises. Lord whatever happens bring Glory to your name and let those around them see your provision for this family. Draw them not only closer to you, but closer to each other. Lord touch them and let them know that you are near and care deeply about what is happening in their lives. Bless them and work mightily in this sitruation. War against the enemy that would sow seeds of discouragement and hopelessness and trigger further issues in this time. Protect them and keep them safe in the cleft of the rock. Intervene on their behalf! Rather we thank you for what you are accomplishing. Use this to help them become more of the man and woman your created them to be.

I will be on my knees in prayer over you and your beloved! Know that the Lord has Not forgotten you, and the fact of your coping so well thuss far, is a blessing! Keep looking for the little blessings, and watch them add up like snowflakes... Pretty soon, you will see that the Lord's hand will be shown in His will & work in your lives; and know that He Loves you and cherishes you more than you can ever fathom! May you be blessed!!!

Somebody threw a brick through our living room window tonight. I was on the couch. For some reason never got an adrenaline rush and am not really upset. My wife was shaking. I've kind of accepted that there are bad people all over. (We live in a big city.) Maybe tomorrow I'll be mad.

Even though the blinds were closed there was glass all over the living room which took an hour to comb through and clean up carefully for the cats' sake.

The cops came and we have home owner's insurance so we'll deal with that tomorrow.

Hopefully just a random act. Better than getting a car stolen.

So in addition to my wife's teaching situation and the window we've had two car repairs, a cat repair and our roof leaks. Plus I've been in a very depressed cycle. I'm doing my best to pass the test through God's grace.
