Prayer request

Hey folks,

I have a couple of needs that I would like to ask for prayer for.

First of all, today is the one year anniversary of Candice passing away. I have been dealing with quite abit of depression and I think this is part of it.

Second, my mother called today and told me she has a lump on her esaphogus. Please pray that God will heal her or give her peace and comfort as she copes with his will.

Third, I am scheduled to move in one week and I don't have a job offer at this point. I would ask that you pray with me that God will open doors with housing and work.

Thank you for the prayers and all the support I get from our conversations and fellowship.

Heavenly Father, Dan needs a larger helping of faith today. Faith in your ability to comfort his pain. Faith in your understanding of his needs. Faith in your ability to provide for him and his family. Father, sometimes faith seems like a distant bridge and we don't know if we can walk far enough to reach it. We get depressed. We worry. We fear. We take those emotions and let them build a high wall between us and You. Lord, I pray that if it is Your will for him to make this move, you will open the right doors for him. If it is Your will for him to wait or not to go at all that You will keep those doors closed for now. Lord, You know what is best even if we don't like it at the time. We trust Your will.

Update,

I made it through the anniversary of Candice's death. For those of you who let me share things about her and walked down memory lane with me I thank you.

I have a job. I was looking through a Delaware paper on Tuesday night and saw an add for an electrical mechanic position in Seaford, DE. The add said they were taking applications and interviewing the next day. I took the day off of work and drove down to Seaford. They reviewed my resume, talked to me about my electrical background and offered me the highest paying job I have ever had. I am finally making more than what I was in the military. The best part of the job is that I will be able to live withing 30 miles of my daughter.

Thank you for your prayers as I know this was an "open door".
