A. believer said:Oh. What part of India, if you don't mind my asking?
sanaa said:bombay . do u know someone here?
A. believer said:I know many people in India, including all of my in-laws. I've spent a little time in Bombay, (and I like it that you still call it Bombay) because that's where we fly into when we go to India. I'm not Indian, but my husband is.
sanaa said:oh cool.what part is ur husband and his family from ? and most people in bombay still call it bombay because it will always be bombay to us . what did u think of bombay?

A. believer said:My husband's family is Rajastani, but they live in MP--in Ratlam. Are you familiar with Ratlam?
As for my thoughts on Bombay, I have millions of them--mostly impressionistic. I think of the little naked toddler walking on the median strip in the middle of a busy thoroughfare, her skin baked to a deep brown, and my three-year-old daughter piping up to me, "That little girl's mom will be really made at her because she's not wearing any clothes." I think of the bizarre experience of having an Indian transvestite approach our taxi at a red light in his sari, asking for change. I think of the delicious meal we had in a restaurant with a friend from the U.S. who happened to be visiting her family in Bombay at the time. She told us to take our leftovers in a bag, because it would only take a moment upon leaving the restaurant before we'll come upon someone who will be thrilled to have them--and she was right.
I must admit that every time I go to India, I find it a very surreal, disturbing, and overwhelming experience.

Dear friend I understand that you are Hindu am I correct in assuming this?
God's word tells us there is only one way to get to God and that is through His son Jesus Christ the Saviour.
Buddah cannot get you to heaven and eternal life.
Only Christ Jesus .
JESUS said I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE , NO ONE COMETH TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son , that whosoever believeth in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.
1 John 5: 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
1Jo 5:10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
1Jo 5:11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1Jo 5:12He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1Jo 5:13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
God bless and if I can be of any help to u friend , please let me know.
