As a faithful Christian it’s been said there are many voices that seek control of our minds. Everyone gets hit with something, and everything from self doubt, to anger, judgment, and so on. Lately I’ve felt like a ping pong ball being bounced between good and evil.
I trust the Word. As a believer I know things are not as bad as they seem. I would like to request some prayers during this strange season that I’m in.

Be very careful of the things you choose to feed into your mind. A great many Christians fail in this one area
Phil 4:

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let
your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord
is at hand.
6 Be
anxious for nothing, but in everything by
prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the
peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Meditate on These Things
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are
true, whatever things
are noble, whatever things
are just, whatever things
are pure, whatever things
are lovely, whatever things
are of
good report, if
there is any virtue and if
there is anything
praiseworthy—
meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

If you allow your mind to focus downward, on sin and evil , rebellion -- even when it is simply the rebellion against God's Word done by others -- you are filling your soul with darkness not light.

Tells of a Christian tortured for many years in a communist prison - who was always rejoicing even while being tortured. One day one of his torturers asked how he could have a smile and be cheerful even while being tortured.
Rom 12:15 was his response
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice
He was being kept below ground , prison basement -- no access to real sunlight, flowers, birds, butterflies
He said "I would think of that and then say to myself -- but many are out there right now and people can see it all - I rejoice for those who are right now rejoicing to see the sun, the green grass the colors of the butterflies".
