CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here's a "stranger" popping in for a bit. I will definitely be keeping you in prayer, KC. I've been praying for everyone here, even though I'm not able to come here much these days.

Well........bad news - they decided to pass on me.
Not sure what happened - I sure didn't get that impression when I was interviewing. We discussed a second interview and taking some tests, so I am not sure what happened.
The headhunter is checking into the situation, but needless to say I am disappointed.

Well, I applied at another place today......got as much chance at it as anybody else does, I guess. Doesn't pay much, but if they offer me the job and it has insurance benefits, I'm taking it, since our insurance ran out yesterday.
They had several scenarios on the ap; "what would you do in these kinds of situations" things. I think I did pretty well on that part, but then, with ten years experience, I should think I would.
Ah, well. Things could be worse, I guess. I could be traveling somewhere by Korean subway, or Iranian or Pakistani airline; or I could be frequenting nightclubs, or working in refineries......
