...the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray...but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26:groupray:

The Lord knows your needs and he listens to all that come to him. May the Lord Bless, Heal and guide you, Grandmother and your entire family in Jesus name. :amen:

Father, my Your glory forever shine in dark places. Lord, You are a light for everyone to see, and may it be there for this man's grandmother. Father, may You lead her into Your light, and Father, Your will be done in this situation. May You call her to Your purpose, so that she will never have to endure pain or suffering. Lord, You are an awesome God, and we have faith in You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.:prayer:

Grandma Katherine is doing great. She moved into a senior assisted living facility recently, and while she'd rather be living on her own (Steel Magnolia fiestiness coming through) is comfortable and satisfied. Between my aunt and uncle and the myriad of nephews and nieces who live near Houston, she's being taken care of.

I often read the Obituaries in the Dallas paper, and am often saddened when I see ones for spouses who pass away within a year of their S.O. doing so. My maternal grandmother was a widow for 27 years, and grandma Katherine has been so for nearing 37 years, so I guess spousal berevement isn't always the death sentence it seems.

Thank you all. :)
