I have a acquaintance that is in need of help! From what I understand this person is in deep thought about committing suicide. He has tried suicide before and God stepped in a prevent this tragedy.
He is a physical born-disable person in his late 40's. He has a bachelor degree but he has never had an adult job, in his area most business are not required to hire a disable person. He has no friends, in college his classmates who he would like to be friends with just used him for his knowledge to pass their classes then the classmates would drop him flat.
Even his family have forsaken this guy. His family all confess they are Christian and go to church, but none of them will help this guy, spiritual. He must call and talk to them, but they never have in the 20+ years that some have been family called and when he does call they act like, I wish he would hurry up and get off the phone. They do not invite him on family dinners or functions. But if you ask them about him they will give say he is their brother with no other information about him. They act like he is contagious or something but he lives in a house and is in perfect health.
Actually, the person (a family member) that help lead him to Christ, chose to call him the biggest joke in the world. The way this person hurt this guy cause him to deny God for a time. It hurt him so much that it took his ability to even believe that God cares about him or that he was saved at all. This guy ask why did God allow this family member to hurt him in such a way if they themselves were Christian.
As for girlfriends, he says that's a biggest joke of them all because what woman wants a born-disable man with a damage arm and leg. Now, in todays world they say "I just want to be friends, NOTHING more!" but earlier some ladies were not that nice in their reply of No. At his age and standing in the world he says the only woman he could get today would be either divorced or a woman that too old to have kids. And he truly wants kids.
All this man ever wanted was a female friend that could become a wife someday. That his wife wanted to have children. A home and a job to pay the bills. Just what most of us take for granted in this world hat we will have someday. And he being praying for this more than 20 years.
So, without family, friends, or job and no possibility of find a wife he has believes that he is a wasted human soul. That he was put on earth just to suffer and that even God has forsaken him. So, he has decided to try a take his life again before evil causes him to react to the suffering.
I ask that we pray for this man to find that female friend that can help heal this person. And start to live instead of being as he put it "a wasted human being that should of never existed".
