Tomorrow on Easter Sunday I will be getting baptized at my church. Im very excited about it. To be getting baptized on Easter Sunday, the day that Jesus was resurrected , is going to be very special for me. The other reason it will be very exciting is that my husband has agreed to come and watch me. Which means this will be his first visit to a church service. He is not saved and I have been praying for his salvation. If everyone could pray for Mark tomorrow that his heart would be convicted and softened to hearing the words of God, I would truly be thankful. I'll let you all know how it went.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the gift of salvation and freedom that you have given newbeliever, and the new life that she has entered in to by water and Spirit. Lord, as you have done great works in her life, also you can do these works in the life of Mark. Lord Jesus, nurture the seeds that are being planted with him as he witnesses his wifes faith, as he heard of your resurrection and salvation yesterday, as he felt your Spirit move as newbeliever cast off her old life in baptism. I pray that these seeds will grow and flourish and Mark will come to believe in you and accept you. Surround him by your people so that he hears the truth from all sides. Lord, I pray also for the strength and conviction of newbeliever, that she will also be surrounded and uplifted in faith by her Christian family, so that she may grow and mature in your name. I just wanted to let you all know about the baptism. It was awesome. I woke up on Sunday morning with an overly excited heart and attitude. My day started out at a sunrise service given by a another local church. We worshiped with them and then had some breakfast together. How nice it was to join together with another church in recognition of Jesus's resurrection. Afterwards, I went to my own church and waited patiently for the service to begin. The church was so beautiful...Easter lilies up near the altar, music playing...they played Amazing Grace for me during the baptism. I couldn't help but to sing a few lines while I was in the water. The whole congregation came up and gathered around us. The pastor welcomed me into the the family of God and the church family. He said a few more words and I can remember when I was being dunked I could see myself in the water, it was like I was looking down at me. I could see myself under the water. When I came up I was just smiling and tearing up with the joy of it all. I am a new person now. I can feel it, all I want to do is think about God and do what I can for him. I want to just learn, learn, learn and do some more learning. Absolutely amazing!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing in my joy and I praise God everyday that I am with Him now.

P.S. Please continue to pray for my husband (Mark). He went to the service with me (his first visit ever) and told me that it was a nice service but he wont' come back. So, please continue to pray for him if you can.
