Do you pray? Yes

How often do you pray?Five times daily

Do you expect to get answers?Yes, even if the answer is not what I want it to be

Who do you pray to? God

How do you pray? Salat

If you don't pray, how do you reflect and plan for the future? After the Salat I pray a personal prayer called a dua and sometimes perform dhikr.

What is prayer to you?First a requirement as commanded by God, Secondly a way for me to speak with the Creator at least 5 times daily

What have you prayed for in the past? For wisdom, patience, forgiveness, protection and much more.

Which prayers do you specifically remember which were answered? Sometimes I am asked questions which I do not have a ready response for and I will pray for the knowledge. Usually, very shortly after, I will either read or hear a scholar address the answer without me ever asking that particular person. There are many more profound things but that is one which I feel could be directly relayed.

Do you pray?
Oh yea!

How often do you pray?
Honestly contray to what most people here would think, I pray all the time. At least a dozen personal prayers a day, and then probably a hundred lol prayers saying "thank you Lord" or something like that. It has become a habit to Thank the Lord, thank God!!

Do you expect to get answers?
Only when God wills. I hope to get answers, but only God can decide whether or not He will grant what I ask, or something.
Who do you pray to?
Lord Jesus!

I also pray to the Blessed Mother :)
How do you pray?
With my hands together, some times eyes closed, asking the Lord. When in public I will just say it in my head.

If you don't pray, how do you reflect and plan for the future?
--

What is prayer to you?
It is personal communication with our Lord.

What have you prayed for in the past?
Forgiveness, understanding, safety, unity, ending the wars, things of that nature.

A lot of times I also pray as simply meditation. I just talk to the Lord, and tell Him how I feel, or this and that. It's really nice to talk to someone who will listen!
Which prayers do you specifically remember which were answered?
* I prayed that I would get good grades, and I did.
* That the terrorists in London who tried to kill innocent people were caught(which happened just yesterday)
* That the Democrats take over congress :D
* That the Deacon at my Church would have a great recovery from his sickness(Which he did.)
* That I, or others who were sick would feel better
And many more!

Do you pray? Yes

How often do you pray? Not as often as I should.

Do you expect to get answers? I don't EXPECT to get answers. Heck, I don't even expect anyone to be listening.

Who do you pray to? Ganesha or 'Spirit' as a whole or "the Goddess".

How do you pray? I just talk... either out loud or in my head.

What is prayer to you? A form of communication with the Divine.

What have you prayed for in the past? Usually I just pray to talk and connect to my deities. In the past I've prayed for fertility and to "get through" a situation.

Which prayers do you specifically remember which were answered? Well, probably the fertility ones.

Do you pray? Yes

How often do you pray? Daily. I usually have a more structured prayer time in the morning (when I also read the Bible) and in the evening, sometimes at lunch time too. I pray during the day for all sorts of situations - before answering the phone at work, before going out to do domiciliary visits, for friends and family, for situations in the news ...

Do you expect to get answers? Yes I do ... although not always straight away, and not necessarily in the ways I expected.

Who do you pray to? The one living God

How do you pray? On my knees or standing; lying prostrate or sitting or walking; with my arms raised or my hands folded or my palms turned upwards,; laughing or crying,; thinking the words in my head or speaking them out loud,; dancing or singing ... in any way in which God's Spirit prompts me to!

What is prayer to you? Speaking and listening to God.

What have you prayed for in the past? I pray for all sorts of situations. My most common prayers to God are for
1. protection
2. salvation
3. God using my for his purpose and guiding me in his ways

Which prayers do you specifically remember which were answered? Gotta think about that one for a bit longer!

Thanks Elijah for the questions!

Do you pray?

Yes...

How often do you pray?

Usually several times a time... One Obligatory Prayer and prayers on awakening and going to sleep... I also recite the Name of God daily...

Do you expect to get answers?

I know God is All-Knowing and closer to me than my life vein ... Usually I don't ask for specific things but I also say prayers for healing of others and I know God in HIs mercy will respond.

Who do you pray to?

The same God of all creation and the Almighty the Beneficent...the One and only.

How do you pray?

There are precribed ways to pray in my Faith so I recite the revealed prayers and follow them for the obligatory prayer... Other forms of prayer are less formal and can be said anywhere, anytime as the situations present themselves. There is also intercessory prayer ... that is prayer directed to intercede for someone or to ask for intercession.

You can also visualize something like a solution to a problem that will come to you while in prayer or meditation and then act on it with faith.

What is prayer to you?

Prayer can be formal or not so formal ... It is also being in a meditative spiritual state. Prayer is conversation or communion with God

What have you prayed for in the past?

I've prayed for healing and safety for some people as well as for some of my own issues...

Which prayers do you specifically remember which were answered?

I believe prayers are always answered but the answers are sometimes unexpected and seem to resolve the issues..that is, we may not think they are being answered in the way we expect them to be...but we sometimes don't understand that a "no answer" is indeed an "answer". And that there are reasons for this that we just don't or won't understand.

"The true worshipper, while praying, should endeavour not so much to ask God to fulfil his wishes and desires, but rather to adjust these and make them conform to the Divine Will. Only through such an attitude can one derive that feeling of inner peace and contentment which the power of prayer alone can confer."

Do you pray?
After a fashion. It's not quite the same as what is usually mean, but if you mean appeal to a higher power, then yes.

How often do you pray?
I am aware of the Spirit in my life at nearly all times, but thankfully rarely face troubles so daunting that I need to pray for guidance.

Do you expect to get answers?
I recieve answers in the form of self knowledge that helps me better myself and my life, or inspiration in finding an option in solving a problem that I hadn't thought of before.

Who do you pray to?
Any spirits who are listening and care to become involved in my life. There are a few consistent companions but sometimes somebody new shows up. It's always fun to meditate in new places and meet the "locals."

How do you pray?
I meditate deeply, often in bed before sleeping. Sometimes with the assistance of drumming or rattling and a ceremonial setting for the most important tasks.

What is prayer to you?
Prayer is seeking to contact, or become close to the Spirit (insert higher power of your choice). It dosn't necessarily have to include a request for something.

What have you prayed for in the past?
It would be better to ask what I have not prayed for. Selfishness, greed, and arrogance are the fastest way to anger your spirits, and they will leave you in a hurry if you pray for anything along those lines. The holiest form of request would be that on behalf of somone else, providing they have asked openly for help. Doing it without their permission would be trying to impose your will on them and thus arrogant and impermissable.
