  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am going thru a hard time with my brother. He lives with my husband and I. My brother has some emotional illness, and it is impossible to talk to him. He immediately takes offense and gets very angry and acts out in completely irrational ways. Sometimes I am afraid of him. I can't say too much, except please pray for me and my husband. And please pray that God would cause my brother to think in healthy ways. Please pray for our protection.

You would have to be here to understand it completely, but God answered your prayers for me, within a very short time.:) God took away my brother's anger, and replaced it with a good attitude. This was very unusual for my bro, so I was asking myself: "why is bro being so nice?" And then I remembered---you guys were praying! WOW! Thank you Jesus!
