My friend, Kala, got herself in trouble tonight (probably for something ungodly) and her parents have a tendency to go overboard - in very ungodly ways when this stuff happend - even over small stuff. It always drives her further from God because she is so scared of them that she worries about them more than God. They are all Christians but there is very little fruit and love going on it their house. Please pray for them all - that God would convict them and protect her both physically and mentally.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Fran - I am definately going to stay her friend (if you read through these threads you will find - I think - that this is the girl I like as well - but God told me no!, so I am just trying to be her friend becasue I think that is why God brought us together). The problem is they do not go back to school till the 7th (she goes to school with some strong Christians) and she is not allowed to call or see any of us as punishment - so she is going to have the next week of no strong Chrsitian influence - I am afraid she is going to get drier and drier bacuse of that. I am also scared that I am not going to be nice to her becuase I think she went off and did some bad stuff with another guy and it hurts. Pelase pray that I can be strong - I know I ask alot but I am so glad for all of your prayers and support.

Dear Lord, I pray for Mat777 and Kala Lord that you be with them God. Lord I pray You bring peace into Kala's household, let love and understanding take root. Give her strength Lord in this time of need. Bless their friendship God! Give Mat strength too, to stick to what You have said to him and help him to forgive Kala Lord, for whatever she may have done. Amen!
