Yesterday I was told that one of the students in the school I work nearly drowned in a swimming pool. He's one of our Pre-Kinder students, only 4 years old. Right now he is in a coma, and his chances look very dim. A scan reveals very little brain activity and extensive damage. They are attempting a procedure with blood to try and restore some brain activity and possibly have him come out of the coma. Chances are he's not going to make it, but if he does awaken, he will have severe mental problems for the rest of his life..
I just want to ask for prayer for this small child. To give the doctors the guidance and wisdom they need in treating him, and his family the emotional and spiritual support to get through this ordeal. I know God specializes in miracles, so we are praying that His will be done. I know that there is a reason for something like this happening and we can't see it now, but He knows why things like this happen.
