I came up with a great idea! In so many others threads in this forum prayer requests are posted. But it seems there are too many to keep up with and I feel really bad for not posting because I don't have the time to read about the prayer concerns in detail and reply to them.

So, I was thinking...I could post a prayer and then one prayer concern in my life. The next person who posts can say a very short prayer concerning my prayer concern and then post a prayer concern of their own. The prayer chain would go on from there and in the end all the prayers would be linked!

Father, bless us all this day and lead us down the paths that you have chosen for us. Let us open our ears to heed your word and draw us all closer to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!

Heavenly Father, I pray for RM and Joe that You will bless them as they look forward together to marriage. Help them to be able to communicate with their parents about what they want for a wedding. I pray their parents respect their wishes and work with them to plan this event. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Dear Father,

I lift Shadowcat up to you, for strengthing in faith, as we know that you will do, for You've given us faith, and You've promised to increase our faith if we ask. I agree with her in prayer that any worries she has be cast down as imaginations from the adversary, for you have not given us fear, worry or doubt, you've given us the power (through the Holy Spirit) to act in love and with a sound mind! Thank you for your Holy Spirit, stir it up in us as you stir it in Shadowcat, so we can love you more and refuse to believe the lies the adversary brings to us.

You are all we ever want or need, help us to hear Your Word and feel Your presence and Your love, in a way that brings glory to You, for that is the best witness to others, no matter what they think. Help us to cleanse our hearts to love you more, and to turn others hearts to you by how we think, speak and act.

Dear Lord of All,
I join in the prayer for the refreshing rains in Australia, and that your glory be evident through your power.

And I pray for patient endurance as we continue to pray for the killing to stop in the mid-East, prayers for protection of the hearts, minds and bodies of the soldiers and the victims of the violence; please turn the hearts toward you, lift up the faith of your believers so everything they think, say or do is a witness to the power of the gospel. Guide our prayers and help us to savor your presence as we pray for peace. Please give peace and love to the families whose members have stepped up for their country, and to the returning soldiers as they renew relationships to your glory.

My prayer concern: the spirit of religiosity among believers be defeated and replaced with unity among the body of Christ.
