• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Answer these questions:

1) Do you want to meet before or after school?
2) Do other students meet during these times for non-school related events (like a ski club).
3) What did the scholl say to you, when you asked?

is their anyone in this forum part of Fellowship of Christian Athletes or FCS Fellowship of Christian Students, those clubs are real good clubs that allow prayer by other students or they should, i heard something today in our school about them possibly bringing it back if we got some signatures I am not sure, but I dont want to say that I dont want it to happen, i just know that because of ACLU's funky and weird rules. I believe that you have the right to group up with your friends or other believers and pray maybe everymorning b4 school, i know that some guys i know do that, from what i understand with the constitution is that a teacher can not lead in prayer, i believe though that they have the right to either reject or suggest prayer. Hopefully suggest

IS IT EVER OK TO PRAY IN SCHOOL?

Sure. Individual students have the right to pray whenever they want to, as long as they don't disrupt classroom instruction or other educational activities -- or try to force others to pray along with them. If a school official has told you that you can't pray at all during the school day, your right to exercise your religion is being violated. Contact your local ACLU for help.
