Recently I have noticed one individual who has shown great restraint in how he writes his posts. I am both encouraged and challanged by this person. It got me thinking and realized that most (not all) of us in OT have been harsh and even rude with what we have written on this thread to those we differ in opinion. At best OT has been divisive. I know that at times I have been a part of this divisiveness. So first I want to apologize to those I have intentionally and unintentionally offended people on this board. Second I want to challenge all of us to write each other without insulting or demeaning (ie flaming) each other. Let us work towards unity in the body of Christ. With all that said I would like to pray for OT.
Lord, I pray that we would work together in unity. Lord, we pray that you would bind any and all dark/evil forces who use people and this board to cause disunity in Your body. May we discuss with love and respect for each other, because You love each one of us. Lord, when we feel like flaming other members may you remind us to love and respect each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. Lord, above all, may You be glorified in these discussions. Amen!
