If you can remember among your others prayers and preoccupations, would you please say a prayer for my sister, who is currently in a high-dependency unit in hospital, in Perth, West Australia, struggling with an infection, after a hysterectomy.
She has fluid on her lungs, which makes her breathing difficult, and is restricted to a limited fluid intake for that reason. The doctors are having to balance various things which can countract against each other, so they have quite a difficult task.
She was told she would probably be returning to the ward, yesterday, so she was in high spirits. Now that the infection seems to have recovered somewhat, though, she was rather dejected today.
My poor brother-in-law has quite a job on at the best of times, looking after my mother, who has dementia and other difficult physical ailments which impose a lot of work on him.
