I ask God to make my dad strong. He's been depressed lately since me, and my sister went here abroad. What made him more depressed is that my mom is coming here with us soon before December ends. He's been crying a lot and feel that he'd rather end his life. I ask God to give him the strength he needs, to show him his purpose here on earth, and to have peace of mind. I love my dad so much. It's just that there is nothing we could do and nothing will happen if i leave the states for him because here is where my carreer's at. I pray for my dad to have a positive outlook in life and to feel the presence of the Lord by his side always. My mom is coming here soon, i hope she have a safe flight. I pray also to have an answer on my husband's papers as immigrant visa from the immigration. i hope to have my husband here in less than 1 year, God willing. I know God is always here for us all.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Welcome to CF. I am sorry to hear about your dad, but happy that you are lifting him up in prayer because it is the best thing you can do for him. I will join you in prayer.
Heavenly Father, thank you for joining us in prayer and for all of your blessings! In Jesus name I pray for your perfect will for this whole family for you know what is best. Meet each of their needs according to your will. Give them comfort, peace, guidance, wisdom and mercy during their wait. Thank you for this and for all you do, Amen
