Im a 15 year old new christian who lost his mom and never knew his father, I get sraight A's in school and i play basketball. i also TRY to sray from sin, however lately i feel empty inside because i have no immediate parents and i dont really know how to "be" a christian. i know about jesus and god but i feel i want to be closer and i dont know how can someone pray for me please

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am lifting many prayers to the Lord for you. My heart is broken for you. To not have parents at such a young age has to be tough. May God be near and grant you peace.
As for being "christian", I suggest joining a christian church and study groups; talk with a minister. Those should help you find your way.

Dear Christianboy, I am praying for you. God has a still, small voice, always listen for it. I lost my son on august 18, 2005. He was born again, and i wish i would have taught him more about the Lord. Never forget that you are in a spiritual battle in this life. But those of us who have our faith in Jesus are on the winning side. Keep all your heart turned to God and he will show you the way, Chris
