Prayer for marriages

This is the prayer that I will be saying today. I will post the new daily prayer every morning. These prayers are to the Holy Spirit. I am becoming overwhelmed with the prayers that I do so I will be posting daily for all marriages that are in trouble. These prayers will run for 9 days and they will go for 9 sets. I would also like everyone to know that I do read the prayer requests daily on this site and pray with them as well. I do not always answer them on the boards but I do pray for them as I am reading. I just don't seem to have time to post on the prayers and keep up with the marriages. I hope that you all understand. God bless.

The Apostles' Creed
The basic creed of Reformed churches, as most familiarly known, is called the Apostles' Creed. It has received this title because of its great antiquity; it dates from very early times in the Church, a half century or so from the last writings of the New Testament.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead.

DAY ONE

O Holy Spirit, bestow upon us Your seven holy gifts. Enlighten our understanding that we may know You. Give us wisdom that Your will may be clear to us and that we may accept it. Grant us the gift of counsel that we may always perceive what is right. Fortify us that we may always be capable of fulfilling Your Divine Will. Inspire us with the spirit of learning that we may be able to penetrate more deeply into the truths that You have revealed. Let our hearts be steeped in the spirit of childlikeness that we may bring You joy. Let us have proper fear of God that we may never grieve You or wander from the path of goodness. Give us the fulness of Your gifts that we may glorify You. Amen.
Look with compassion upon us, O Holy Spirit, and grant us the favor we seek in this novena, if it be in accordance with Your Holy Will.

God Bless you sweetie for your prayers! As you know from the Postings, I am in need of a miricle from Our Father In Heaven, within my marriage! May God invene and soften my husbands heart and bring him where he needs to be, on the right track to Jesus, Christ. May my Home be finally released from satans, grasp. May God send His Angels to testify to my husband and bring Him into the presence of Gods Light! May God contune to use me, to help others..and to prepare before others, the light, in which marriage problems can be healed, and restored if we believe and have Faith! Visit us by Your grace and Your love and grant us the favor we so earnestly seek in this novena for these broken and hurt marriages. Amen.

O Light of Beatitude make our hearts ready; come enter our souls. Without Your grace man stands alone; he cannot be good or sure. Cleanse what is soiled; heal what is wounded; moisten what is arid. Bend the stubborn will; warm the cold heart; guide the wandering footstep. O Holy Spirit we beg You to give us grace through Your sevenfold power and grant me the favors I so earnestly seek in this novena for marriages and all prayers being asked of You. Give us merit for the present and one day beatitude when we have finished our earthly journey. Amen.

The problem with marriages that are in trouble are usually do to

problems with constant communication. Your internet problem is

a sign from GOD that marriages in trouble need to have personal

communication one on one. Prayers on the internet are good for

those looking for things to say when they have this personal

communication with their spouses. Perhaps on days 8 and 9

GOD let us all know this. GOD's internet is never down. Prayers

from those in trouble to GOD are always heard. I pray today

that they communicate with GOD and themselves daily for assistace.

Thank you Mark for the input, it made a lot of sense to me, I had not thought of it that way before about God and the internet. I agree if the marriages had communication about each and everything that goes on in their marriages there would not be the breakdowns that there are. For this though you have to have both partners in agreement. I will be adding this in with my daily prayers for marriages though. God bless you for bringing that forward.

I do also have to say though that most marriages that I pray for are already separated and some of them there is no communication going on between the two spouses whatsoever. Eventually that does start to happen though and then you see a lot of restoration going on.
