Prayer for Father-in-law

I am sorry to hear this. My brother died of Liver cancer two years ago. While cancer is a terrible disease, but God is gracious. The cancer gave him time to get his life straight the Lord.

We will pray for you, your wife, her mother and your father-inlaw.

The bad news is that Tom is in his last days. His kidneys are in the process of shutting down. Now it's a question of days rather than weeks.

The good news is that we found out that Tom has repented and accepted Christ. This word came from my mother-in-law's pastor. He presented a clear gospel message to Tom and agrees that Tom has places faith in Christ. He is not the kind of person who would make this sort of thing up just to make us feel better.

Please pray for the family in the next few days. Pray also that there would be opportunities to witness, in words and actions, to those in the family who are outside the body of Christ. I'm specifically thinking of my 3 nephews and 2 neices.

Tom passed away early Friday morning. The funeral was yesterday.

The family is doing ok for now. Please pray for their continued comfort.

There is a significant praise. The pastor delivered an excellent gospel message for the service. Pray that those who needed to hear it will respond.
