Prayer for Courage & Discipline

Hi guys,

please pray for me as I embark on a rather tough and scary course. I owe a significant sum of money to a company, which until now I've been unable to pay. With the fees/interest etc., it's a huge amount. I'm currently working with them and an attorney to work out a payment plan; but since I'm so late, I'm kind of at their mercy; they could put a lien on my house, garnish my paycheck, lots of fun things. The main things I'm worried about are that they will demand an unreasonably high payment plan that I can't meet; or, that my own discipline will falter. If I get a payment plan I can afford, I'm looking at 5 years of monthly payments, with little chance that I could pay it off early. Also, if they put a lien on my house (which I'm thinking they will, as collateral for the payment plan), it will be bad for my credit. Plus my taxes are going up so I'm already gonna be poorer.

Anyway, please pray that I can face this and that I can still afford to get by... also, there is a tiny chance that I could get completely off the hook here -- they have misplaced my file and if they can't prove I owe them this money, I don't have to pay it. SLIM chance! But, who knows?

I will certainly pray for you to be helped in your time of financial need. Remember to trust God, and He will take care of you no matter what happens.

Also, try to remember that even if they do misplace your file and you don't have to pay them the money, the honest thing to do would be to pay it off anyway... (Speaking from experience, you never know when or where that file might turn up, and your situation will be made much worse since there will be more interest and penalties...)
