Prayer for Canada...

As some of you may or may not know our National Parliment will this week be voting on the Homosexual Marriage legislation. I would ask that you pray that God would allow this bill to be defeated. But even more so I would ask that you begin to pray that God would use this to wake up the dead and dying church in Canada.

In the spring of 2001 while I was travelling with a singing group, I found the following quote which I now share with all of you... unfortunately I don't know who I am quoting, but here it is...

"The prayer that sparks revival begins long before the countryside seems to awaken from its slumber in sin. It starts when men fall on their knees and cry out to God. That's where true intimacy with God takes place and where we begin the journey of being transformed into the image of Christ. And as men are transformed, the course of a nation can be changed."

Hi Pastor Jer, I love the quote you wrote for us.

I pray for Canada that the bill would be defeated, and I pray that Christians in Canada would be strengthened and their numbers increased. I pray there would be an outpouring of prayer by them and others over the way of Canada to try to eliminate any religion due to political correctness. I pray for the beleivers there that they would work out their salvation with fear and trembling, just as I need to do. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
