CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sorry, I finally got the news later in the evening last night. 10 hours later... he's doing well. They could not remove all of the tumor, but got a good amount.

Hi guys...
A while ago I mentioned in the ASA thread about my classroom being understaffed. There's a big meeting scheduled for Monday morning. Please pray about the situation.
Also, my mom is having some kind of heart issues. Her doctors are not sure what's going on...from what I can gather her heart isn't beating like it should. She's very healthy and takes great care of herself...she's just 65. Please say a prayer for her.

Want to thank you both again for your prayers! I just got off the phone with my mom - the cardiologist said that her heart issues are not anything to be overly concerned with, and she doesn't have to see him again until next year. So YAY!!! Ty God!

Seriously..I think I'm going crazy..
I am so overwhelmed with school right now...and I can't get all my stuff done. I have a test today that I started studying for yesterday afternoon and still don't know a darn thing...I couldn't sleep at all last night - I looked at the clock at 5:17 and finally fell asleep sometime after that, but I had nightmares about my brother and trains...oy..and then I woke up too late for my first class...so I e-mailed the prof and she said she was planning to sick students affairs on me...and I don't know when I am going to be able to meet with her to get caught up...and I have two projects due for that class this next week, two for another one in two weeks, and a paper to write for each of my spanish classes...and a test today and friday...and I think I failed one yesterday..
and I don't have time to catch up with anything because I work 25-30 hours a week too...
I seriously don't know what the heck to do right now....
