Some CF members complained that their prayers never got answered.
Is there a solution?
Is there a solution?

Hey, actually the outcomes are not random.I think that sometimes when we pray to God and get no answer, it doesn’t always mean He is saying no!!
Sometimes we need to be more patient and wait on His Timing.
But yes if someone is asking God for something bad then His Answer would be no. Because He Is Good.
God Is A Good Father!!![]()
It's not necessarily having our will done, everyone has legitimate needs, eg to pray for wife or husband's health, to pray for safety, to pray for a job. We have a duty to pray for our daily needs, but also ACCEPT God's decisions.Prayer is a state of communication with Jesus Christ, not a means of getting our own will done.
The main theme of that story is we need humility, and that there is a RELATIONSHIP between humility and joy.John in the story I think was very materialistic and more focused on himself than God.
Maybe that is why he got kidnapped?
Maybe God wanted to teach him a lesson and change his heart?
It made me think of this Bible Verse:
““Do not store up for yourselves wealth here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and burglars break in and steal. Instead, store up for yourselves wealth in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and burglars do not break in or steal. For where your wealth is, there your heart will be also.”

Can you explain the issue in the OP? What when there is no answer? Do you believe that if people do not pray they will not be healthy, safe, or employed? It's not necessarily having our will done, everyone has legitimate needs, eg to pray for wife or husband's health, to pray for safety, to pray for a job. Here is my entire post "Prayer is a state of communication with Jesus Christ, not a means of getting our own will done.". There is no suggestion that I have no needs. You really never need to ask God for anything ????
I certainly do not believe that a saiint should be identified by being someone who is healthy, safe and satisfactorily employed. Then you are already a saint, unlike the rest of us.
The rest of us do.
I am too busy for such argument, it would be endless if we go on and on. I have consulted someone wiser than me, and he said you are "fundamentally" correct , but I am also correct - we are encouraged to ask for our needs in prayer (that's humility). Can you explain the issue in the OP? What when there is no answer? Do you believe that if people do not pray they will not be healthy, safe, or employed?
